Do you have questions? I can understand that
Here you find answers to the most common questions about process, confidentiality, costs and digital mail. If your question isn't here, just get in touch. The initial consultation is free.
General questions
How does a typical appointment work?
I come to your home. Most people feel more comfortable there and can talk more openly about their situation.
Together we go through your mail, sort important from unimportant and proceed step by step. You set the pace, there's no time pressure.
The initial appointment is free, including travel to and from your home. For additional appointments, travel is charged according to the established hourly rate.
Am I required to tell you everything?
No. You decide what you want to share with me. I don't ask about personal reasons for your situation. What's important to me is that I can help you as best as possible with the information you choose to give me.
Absolute confidentiality is a matter of course. What we discuss stays between us.
What if my situation is very chaotic?
That's not a problem. I've experienced many chaotic situations and won't be discouraged by them. Even the biggest chaos can be organized step by step. The important thing is that we start, no matter how small the first step is.
I never judge and know of no situation that would be too difficult. Together we'll find a solution.
Collaboration & service
Do you also work with therapists?
Yes, gladly. If you're already receiving therapeutic or social care, I can work with your caregivers. This ensures holistic support without duplications. Of course, only with your explicit consent.
Many therapists appreciate when their clients receive administrative relief. This allows them to focus on their core work.
How quickly can I get help?
In urgent situations I can often offer an appointment within a few days. For the free initial consultation I usually find time quickly. After that we plan next steps together at a pace that works for you.
In acute crises involving payment orders or overdue notices I respond particularly quickly. Just call me.
Do you also help with ADHD and procrastination?
Yes. Whether ADHD, procrastination, attention difficulties, overwhelm due to life crises or different working styles: I'm familiar with many situations.
My adaptations: shorter work sessions when needed, more breaks and less pressure, a clear, structured approach and understanding for individual needs.
What's important to me is that you feel understood and not judged. Everyone works differently, and that's completely fine.
Digital support & ePost
What is the difference between ePost and eBill?
ePost is like a digital mailbox for all types of letters. You receive documents from the canton, insurance companies, banks and other senders in an app or web browser.
eBill appears directly in your e-banking and is specifically for bills. You can pay the invoice with one click, without scanning QR codes.
You can have both. I help you decide what works best for your situation. More on the Digital Support page.
What is BE-ePost from Canton Bern?
BE-ePost is digital mail from Canton Bern. Currently you receive your tax bills digitally through this service. Canton Bern plans to gradually send all letters digitally. BE-ePost is part of the regular ePost app from Swiss Post.
I set this up for you: as part of digital support, I activate BE-ePost and ensure you safely receive your tax bills.
Do you also help with the transition from analog to digital?
Yes. Many people are overwhelmed with switching to digital mail, ePost and eBill. I set up the ePost app and eBill, activate BE-ePost from the canton, switch all billing companies (health insurance, insurance, electricity and more), train you at your pace and stay available for questions.
Three packages available: Starter (CHF 180), Complete (CHF 420), Full Service (CHF 680), or an individual solution. More on the Digital Support page.
Are ePost and eBill secure?
Yes, very secure. ePost and eBill were developed by Swiss Post and Swiss banks. Data is stored in Switzerland, transmission is encrypted, and login is protected with two-factor authentication. At least as secure as paper mail in your mailbox.
I work discreetly and only see what's necessary for the setup. Your access credentials remain with you.
Can I switch back to paper mail later?
Yes. You can always switch back to paper mail, you're not trapped. In the Full Service package the switch back is even included. I help you completely revert everything if you're not satisfied.
Switch-back guarantee: not working for you? We'll switch everything back. No discussion and no additional costs in the Full Service package.
Practical questions
What documents do I need for the first appointment?
Nothing special. At the first appointment we'll look together at what you have. Helpful, but not mandatory, are unopened letters and mail, important documents like IDs and contracts, bank statements or account documents, and anything that concerns you.
Don't worry: even if you can't or don't want to prepare anything, we'll simply start where you are.
How is travel time charged?
The initial appointment is free, including travel to and from your home. For additional appointments, the round trip is charged according to the agreed hourly rate.
For greater distances outside Bern an appropriate travel fee is charged. We discuss this transparently in advance.
In which area do you offer your services?
Primarily in Bern and surrounding areas, about a 30 km radius. I regularly visit the city of Bern and agglomeration, Thun, Köniz, Ostermundigen as well as the Emmental and Oberaargau. By arrangement also other areas.
For greater distances an appropriate travel fee is charged. Contact me, we'll find a solution.
Your question isn't here?
Don't hesitate to contact me directly. The initial consultation is free and without obligation. We're happy to clarify all open questions.
